Hands down, one the best grooves in Atlanta. There's not many must attend events that never play Hip Hop, but DJ Kemit leads a set that spins nothing but grooves from the 60s, 70s, and 80s on actual 45 in. records that has his crowd dripping in sweat.

Kickin Up Dust is like a new age basement party in a dark, intimate lounge, with head-banging soul, funk, R&B, and rock music that practically forces everyone to dance. You may even hear a record skip from time to time, but that's a refreshing sound compared to all of these laptop "DJs."

No one hour set then turn the wheels over. Kemit actually spins the entire night playing nothing but Old School hits for 4+ hours straight.

Most of all, you get a 4 hour set of great music for only $5.

If don't mind sweating and dancing with people who appreciate GOOD Music, Kickin Up Dust is a must.
